Pork Schnitzel and Buckwheat with Prosciutto, Onion and Parsley

We served the schnitzels with some buckwheat which was cooked as per normal in hot salty water and then heated through on a pan with some prosciutto and onion and then finally stirred through with some fresh chopped parsley. It went very well with our Ogio wine from Puglia. Oh yeah, and we had some rocket and tomato salad too.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Onion & Garlic

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Onion & Garlic

Philadelphia 2008

I used to hate these because they were always boiled whole and came out mushy and bitter. Wedged and roasted with olive oil, slat, pepper, and fresh garlic is another story. Steaming hot right from the oven.

For my vegetarian friends.
